Krispy Kreme has some buy a dozen donuts, get a dozen for $1 deal today. I hear they are lining up in some places. It just breaks my heart that companies like KK continue to push this poison on people. Are we ever going to get over this
T2D and obesity epidemic? :cry:

Yeah it is sad, but I tend to agree with Dr. William Davis author of Wheat Belly, that our wheat has been bastardized my term not his, over the years so badly that it’s not the wheat that they ate in biblical times.

Not saying that Einkorn wheat is good for diabetics, but maybe we wouldn’t have as many diabetics genetically passed on over the years, if we had stayed with the original wheat that they used, instead of modifying to try to feed the world, without testing it to see what it did to our bodies.

People are still capable of making their own choices and decisions about their health regardless of advertising. So many of the members here are living proof of how someone can turn their life and health around when they make the decision to do so.

Yes, for sure. I see it everyday with the (illegal) drug addicts out on the streets around here. But with big food pushing this stuff to us via ads and food pyramids and school lunch guidelines, what hope do we have for our society? Even big pharma is adding to our problems with their commercials for various drugs.
It’s just downright depressing.
