So I have one, as I understand several do… I know how I have mine setup. Profile: sport… Setup: USB…
So…I get it, green is good… but since the instructions, website or anything else I can find is not very helpful/informative… can those that have one share your thoughts/experiences, how you have it setup… what a normal morning reading should look like compared to evening or after a workout…I have found depending on what you drank before using it can effect it…
Thank you for your input
Ketonix
I use the Sport setting as well.
To my knowledge, anything between 5 to 10 flashes of Green is lighter Ketosis. You want Orange or Red in the idea world.
Drinking, depending on the liquid, before hand can effect it.
Exercise can effect it.
Normally, morning and evening readings are much more consistent when compared to blood readings.
@tdseest I found this chart… not totally sure if this would be a fair chart to do BUT… This morning I blew a 16.5 (6 blinking yellow) HOWEVER, I did a mild carb up to shock my system a bit (which I have never done-thats for a different thread here in a bit) so one would HAVE to assume I am knocked out… Yet, it was yellow… According to this chart, 16 is a .01 which would make MUCH more sense…
Would love your brain to give me an opinion and thoughts on the cart, if it’s a valid item to use
I’m pretty much at a loss with the chart, as I have the older Ketonix which does not give me a PPM number to my knowledge. I’ve had my own chart that I’ve used for years.
Depending on how long you’ve been Keto, and your exercise patterns, a mild carb up won’t kick you out of ketosis. It just means you had a few carbs in your system for a couple of hours, but that has nothing to do with the production or use of ketones.
6 blinking Yellow is a great number on my Ketonix.
Didn’t know they did an upgrade to software since I got mine… Did the update & saw this chart… Thank you
