Does the ketonix confuse alcohol for acetone? I’ve noticed three times when I’ve had vodka or brandy, my ketonix reading are sky high. Anyone else experienced this?
Ketonix accurate or not?

I find exactly the same thing. I find it can confuse the readings for up to 24 hours after alcohol consumption.

It’s not confusing it, it’s all alcohol, it can’t distinguish them. No different than a cops breathalyzer. Swig some mouthwash and watch that thing pin itself. Only different it it’s calibrated to somehow be more sensitive to the acetone supposedly although I’m not sure of that.

I’ve found even a breath mint can do the same thing. Have to wait quite a while after taking one for the readings to settle down again.
