Ketones after chili w/beans?!

(KB) #1

So I had a good serving of chili last night that included 2lbs grassfed beef w/pinto and black beans, with a huge handful of cheddar on top. It was crock pot chili, the 2nd day actually (made a huge batch for hubby and son)and this morning I thought I’d check for ketones to see if they were affected-- I was surprised that they were 1.4! Any idea why this might be? Did I cook all the starch out maybe? Any insight…thanks😃
