Today is a prime example of my keto levels being low during the day. Today I had a workout with my personal trainer and fasted until 4 PM. My hero blood level was 0.2 and blood sugar 101. I wonder why am I heat on levels are so low during the day sometimes and then increased to a normal level four what my goals are by the evening and dinner.
Does anyone have any feedback for me on this?

Ketone levels low during the day
Because you use ketones for fuel so it would make sense they would drop in the afternoon.
Stop chasing ketone numbers. You’ll drive yourself [spoiler]fucking[/spoiler] nuts. Speaking from experience.
I fast from around 20:00 to around 18:00 each day, and measure ketones just before I eat most days. I don’t exercise any more (it was making me feel ill so I stopped for a while). My ketones are normally around 3.5. they can go as low as 2ish and as high as 5ish.
This seems to be higher than most here, I’m not really sure why, or what I can say to help you any. Except, I have noticed a few people on here saying their ketones are low after exercising.
My ketones usually go down during exercise, and blood sugar goes up. The latter is basically always true, but the ketones are tricky; they usually go down, but sometimes stay the same or even go up.
My ketones are rarely above 1.0, though I typically do not take them before bed (when for me they are the highest). To get to 3.5, I have to fast at least 3.5 days or more.
