Ok need tour help. Been testing my ketones more regularly tontry to understand mynweight loss stall… recap: started keto August 1st, lost 25lbs been stable but no weight loss for several months and doing IF 18/6 every day and often been trying to jump start the weight loss again so doing 1 meal at night.
When intest my ketones during fast stage i am often quite low 0.3-0.4. I tested last night right after dinner and i was at 0.8. Should i not be higher when infast??? (Testing with blood strips).

Yes your blood ketones should be higher when you are fasting and lower after a meal but your numbers still suggest you are in nutritional ketosis so I wouldn’t worry so much about them.
I’m more curious about how much you are eating. I wonder if there’s a lot of stress in your life. I wonder if you are not feeling energetic. All of these things can stall you.
I would encourage you to break up patterns of when you eat. Doing OMAD day after day after day can lead your body to make adjustments in how it spends energy. Maybe the reason your ketone levels are so low when they should normally be higher, is that your body has lowered how much energy it spends to compensate for how little food it’s getting?
Tks Carl all your comments are valid. Stress no more than usual. I think i might have cut too much calories in order to get the scale moving again? I have been freezing non stop for a good week. I read somewhere that it could mean my system is shutting down (slowing)!due tonlow calories? Not sure if true but got a little worried so started IF 18/6 i/on1 meal a day and i am no longer cold… do you mean inam still in ketosis at 0.3? I thought i had to be at 0.5 min?
I’m honestly not sure if less than .05 is considered in ketosis. I do know it’s not optimal, just shy of nutritional but that you are producing ketones.
