Keto weight loss for seniors

(Ken Bishop) #1

Hi…
I am a 72 year old senior male , who has been on Keto for exactly a year. I started my journey driven by health issues, and in one year I have gone from 320 lbs. to 255 lbs. Would be considered a dirty keto practitioner, but attempt to get better each month. Just shouting out to seniors that it will work for you.

That is awesome Ken, keep up the good work! I would like to hear of some non scale victories also!

Keto 3 1/2 years, current age 75. I did not have any particular weight/fat to lose when I started, still lost about 35 pounds in the process of figuring what and how much to eat. Keto is the best thing I ever did for myself. I respect immensely all you who have lost large amounts of excess weight/fat. Congratulations all!

Fantastic! And well done.

That’s awesome!

I’m thinking dirty keto is better than no keto. Whatever you are doing, sounds like it is working.

@pulatto5 Ken, welcome and congratulations.

You’re an inspiration to everyone who ever said “but I’m too old to [whatever].”

Age is the ideal antidote to being young and inexperienced. :vulcan_salute:
