Keto ratio

(Ivan Blaz) #1

Hi Guys. I am new on keto diet, so i have a few questions
My daily ratio is:
Carb 19grams (5%)
Protein 75 grams (20%)
Fat 125 grams (75%)
Total of 1500 calories per day.

Now, this is my daily radio, but does it matter if my meals al not on the same ratio?
Example:
Breakfast: carbs 2%, fat 74%, protein 24%
Lunch: carbs 12%, fat 63%, protein 25%
Dinner: carbs 2%, fat 85%, protein 13%
On the end of the day it is 5%:20%:75%, but does it need to be per every meal same ratio?
Thanks guys.

No, not all meals need to be the same.
Just keep net carbs under 20 and eat until satisfied, don’t worry about calories

That’s great, thanks

Welcome Ivan.

This is all it takes. Eat real food and focus on fat and protein. If you stay under 20 carbs, the other numbers will settle themselves if you simply eat to satiety.

What works for me is featuring a fatty protein and supplementing with a cup or two of buttered vegetables. Doing this will encourage your hormones to behave how they are supposed to. It will not work if you are constantly hungry so don’t set limits on calories. You have to learn how to trust your hunger signals for weight loss to happen in a healthy manner.
