Keto Plans

(Nancy) #1

I am looking for a keto plan that includes meals and IF and EF. I am not good at counting macros and using an app. I am good at following plans. Anyone have any ideas or information would be greatly appreciated.

It may take a bit of googling. I found this one in under a minute.

All you really need to do is to keep your carbohydrate intake under 20 g/day. This will lower your insulin level and help to restore your metabolic health. If you have extra fat to lose, keeping insulin low will help it leave your fat tissue to be metabolized.

The best way of keeping carbohydrate low is to stick to leafy greens and cruciferous vegetables (such as broccoli and cauliflower), because you can eat a fair amount without going over 20 g.

If you avoid processed foods and stick to real food, you will be fine. There is a lot of wiggle room where protein is concerned, just to be sure to get enough. And fat is a safe source of calories, where insulin levels are concerned, so you can eat protein and fat to satisfy your hunger, and still keep your insulin low, with all the benefits that confers.

Eat primarily red meat. Add butter to it. Eat eggs if that works for you. Eat cheese if that works for you. If you need, add green, leafy vegetables in butter or olive oil.

And bacon! :bacon::bacon:
(Sorry, Ethan, I know you don’t, but I couldn’t resist!)
