Keto OMAD/IF Tips?

I tried OMAD for the first time yesterday. Had a salad and burger and whipping cream for dessert. I did drink coffee with coconut cream to suppress my appetite. I’m going to try black coffee today.

I usually get hungry after I workout so I workout right before dinner. I’ve been drinking lots of soda water and I haven’t been super hungry. I do feel a little faint after working out. I find it much easier to just eat one meal a day and I don’t eat as much. I’m wondering what time is ideal for workout/meal. I usually get hungry around 6 and workout before that.

I guess the ideal time is really just when it’s ideal for you.

I OMAD 3 or 4 days during the week as my weekday exercise is limited mostly to weightlifting which doesn’t increase my appetite much. On those days I lift in the morning, have a large lunch & that’s it.

Weekends I do more hiking/mountain biking/aerobic type exercise which does make me hungry so on those days I just skip breakfast but have lunch & dinner.

Mixing it up like that means I’m not ‘restricting’ (deliberately or otherwise) my calories too much or too often.

Well I did just black coffee today which was fine. Made some spicy curry that was a little dangerous to break the fast. Also had 3 eggs and some pastrami/sauerkraut. It’s fun to look forward to dinner and cook it. Snacking all day is a bad habit that i had to break myself of.
