Keto/Mental clarity. Is this why?
I was intrigued until the 4th sentence:

Now I’m wondering who funded these “investigations”.
I guess my point of posting the article, was we no longer eat the foods that cause rapid tooth decay and gum disease? If sugary foods are causing brain clouding, for want of a better word, it stands to reason that removing them gives us greater mental clarity?
Kinda makes sense if amyloid plaques are involved in gumming up the brain (what actually causes it); since amylase (the carbohydrate break down enzyme) is secreted by the salivary glands then I could see how the teeth would be involved…
If they would quit eating so much sugar, NO “…new hopes (vaccine)…” would be needed, period!
I think removing the refined sugar should get most of the credit but I also think that the ketones might even be more efficient than glucose. Alzheimers is called Type III diabetes by some.
Typical medical community practice… treat the symptoms instead of eliminating the cause. It boils down to “Let’s make a drug that allows us to eat poison”. This better perpetuates the cycle of profits.
Type III - D Hmmmmmm! Interesting concept?
Maybe something like ketones are what cleans the brain 
up? (amyloid plaques?)
Kind of like taking acetone[1] and cleaning the finger nail polish off your nails with acetone?
Which is what I plan on doing right now! (re-doing my nails in hot pink 
) …Lol
