Keto Intro YouTube Playlist

(Paul Rich) #1

Hi,
My wife and I have been doing keto for a couple of months, we’re enjoying the benefits. We talk about it to other members of the family. Obviously there is a degree of resistance and skepticism. I would like to point them in the direction of some YouTube videos which cover a lot of the aspects clearly and concisely. I like presentations by people like Ivor Cummins but they go deep.

Has anyone put together a YouTube playlist for this purpose?

Many Thanks

Dr Ken Berry has accessible You Tube videos. Most are 5 - 10 minutes and cover a range of topics including getting started. Also explains the metabolic diseases clearly.
The Diet doctor website is brilliant. You get a free month, which includes videos of Dr Eric Westman, dr Jason Fung and many others.
Netflix has a film called The Magic Pill which is very accessible.
Good luck

I like Dr. Ken Berry’s channel for short videos with easy to understand information from a fairly handsome doctor with a cute southern draw.

Haha and a good sense of humour too.

There’s a forum list here, but it might not have been updated lately.

Amy Berger of Tuit Nutrition has a channel now. She’s very practical and sensible and focuses on ‘doing keto without the crazy’. I like her (and her blog is fiull of good info too, from the super-in-depth research stuff to the accessible-to-newbies stuff).

I am amazed at the degree and depth of science that @richard can go into on the podcast. Others in the low carb down under videos too. I then have to grin and shake my head to remind myself that this is only a fad diet.

I really like this new video because it gives prospective and understanding of nutritional science.

I really appreciate the responses, I’ll go through every selection and create a playlist. Would just like it to be concise but sum up all the benefits.
Many Thanks
