Wagyu is higher on fat than corresponding cuts of Angus but I assume they already know that…

Blimey, never mind the affordability issue - I’ll stay away from the fugu thanks very much - I’ve seen enough Bond films and episodes of Columbo to know that’s too much of a risk for my wimpy self…

Caviar has 4 carbs per 100g?? Who would have thought…too many carbs for my “budget”. LOL So many cheaper foods that taste better with less carbs. I`ll take a steak. What about smoked salmon?

I never understood what the deal is with caviar. I couldn’t get it past my nose.
Reminded me the seal or penguin exhibits at the zoo…

Does anyone know how to cook seal ? A friend of mine served on a fishing boat for a while and he had to live on seal meat for a while but his only comment was " it was ok…I was hungry " !

It is a dark rum …40% alcohol by volume or 80 proof but locally it is any cheap strong booze

I hereby award you the “best Dustin Diamond” reference.

Give me red caviar! AKA ikura. Way less expensive and so delicious. Probably best sourced from pink salmon, since they have the shortest life cycle and so presumably the lowest toxin burden.

Also awesomely nutritious, which isn’t surprising since you can build an entire little salmon out of one egg! I’ve had some that tastes sweet, so caveat emptor. The first site I looked up shows it as low carb, but it wouldn’t surprise me if some producers put sugar in it.
