Keto Fest 2019 any dates yet?

(Karen Parrott) #1

I’m seriously considering Keto Fest 2019.

Questions

  1. Any dates yet?

  2. I may bring my college age daughter, are there other college type age kids that attend with their families or on their own, so she could hang out?

We want to go to but my wife needs to know by October to pick her vaca dates for 2019. It looks like the last two years have been third weekend in July

Yeah!! Some of it may be very dependent on work coverage for me also. I think I am covering for staff member the entire month for a mini sabbatical so I probably won’t make next years either. Sadness is setting in . At least low-carb USA is usually the last weekend in July in San Diego and I’m local so I go to that one

Brenda, my name is David Dwyer. My wife Sue and I attended ketofest 2016 and are planning to come back in 2019, so thanks for the dates. Do you have an idea when tickets will go on sale? Don’t want to miss the date. Thanks very much. David

2017, the first one. Slipped a digit there

Hey @Daviddwyer
The dates have been officially announced but the kickstarter hasn’t begun yet. Here’s a link to the info we have so far:

Buy your tickets early to help us out and save yourself money.

Thank you, Brenda. My wife and I met you at lunch at a place down the street from the square when there in 2017 {I was looking about 70 with white hair at the time). Maybe get a chance to say hello this coming summer if the tickets work out.

Thanks again

David

Hey! I remember you. Of course I will be at KetoFest 2019. If you can’t find me just ask around. It would be nice to say hello again.

Neither my sister nor my daughter in law can eat pork. When I mentioned coming to Keto fest 2019 they pointed out that everything is pork (pig roast, BACON!!!) I, however am thrilled with this. But there is a population segment (Jewish, medical sensitivity, etc) that are excluded from enjoying KetoFest!
So I challenge you dear Carl & Richard, now that you have this whole Ketofest thing down, please include the non-porkers! I would love to come with family.

Beeeeeeeef!!! :cut_of_meat::white_check_mark:

When I went to the first Ketofest, they had a ton of bacon. Bacon might be easier to make for a lot of people, but I agree that some beef would be good.

There May be a price point involved :sunglasses:

That’s true, too.

Personally, I rarely eat bacon these days. I still like it, but I’ve transitioned to leaner meats.
