Keto Crotch

(Edith) #7

Well, there didn’t seem to be too many scholarly article citations…

(Frank) #8

My crotch seems fine last time I checked.

Thanks, I missed this this morning as I couldn’t log on until tonight. Apparently the site doesn’t recognize my password and wouldn’t send me a link to set a new one. I finally was able to log on with FB.

Thanks for posting this. My freaking brother seemed like he couldn’t wait to tell me he heard on the radio today that keto gives women a smelly crotch.:face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Welcome to the internet websites page-view-attracting process 2019. One site makes up a story, and everyone else copies it in order to try to get clicks. None of them give a rats about whether it’s true or not. And none of them are even remotely well-written.

#13

Phew. I thought they meant guys. Guess I’ll stay on Keto and let my wife have all the carbs she wants.

(squirrel-kissing paper tamer) #14

Newest headline: Keto crotch is a sexist made-up thing to scare women back to traditional diets.

(squirrel-kissing paper tamer) #15

Don’t worry Ben, your crotch is safe.

:rofl::joy::rofl:

How can you be sure?

(Consensus is Politics) #17

They needed another quick click through.
:rofl::joy::rofl:

(Allan Misner) #18

I actually did a search and didn’t see it.

(Bunny) #19

Seems to me like it’s the exact opposite (after watching Dr. Berry’s video); keto cures dybiosis (chronic yeast and bladder infections) of the vagina and bladder caused by eating too much sugar (the main culprit)!

Logically “Keto Crotch” is a good thing! :upside_down_face:

Dr. Berry is a real M.D. so he can see the improvements in real-time with female patients doing keto?

(Charlotte) #20

I haven’t had this issue, bad breath, and my farts don’t smell anymore. This is one of those articles that makes me cringe and laugh at the same time. I attribute my lack of smells to the fact I shower every day.

Homeostasis. Your body works hard to maintain it. In many things, like temperature regulation and ph. You know, the stuff that will F you up in a hurry, like fry your brain (high temp) or acid cook your liver (ph too low). It’s amazing how that works.

It’s why folks can drink ACV (which has acetic acid… it’s acidic like all sour things) and not die or pickle their innards.

(Bunny) #22

LeCheffre you would have to drink an awful lot of ACV to do that kind of off setting of PH.

A table spoon or teaspoon (diluted) in a nice big glass of water is not going to pickle your insides, it actually helps the body hold onto electrolytes (not evacuating them every time you urinate)!

People who have problems with ACV are drinking too much of it and you don’t have to drink it every day, that’s when you run into problems?

A tiny bit does not mean drink half a bottle of pure AVC but that is exactly what some people will do unfortunately?

These days I think “keto” = clicks. Populism.

Those magazines, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, …web sites … don’t need science or reality of any sort. They prefer click bait.

(Charlotte) #24

Theres a reason why weight watchers is a dying company. These companies refuse to update their dietary approach. It coincides with keto’s boom in popularity. You think that would tell them something.

(Stickin' with mammoth) #25

What a load. I’ve been all over the internet about keto for two years, I’ve got over four hundred sites and You Tube lectures bookmarked, and not one person mentioned anything even remotely related to this crap.

They want crotch facts? Okay, here goes: my shit stank worse as a vegan. There ya go.

#26

I’ve never heard any mention of any of this in all my researching either, but it simply sounds like more mis-information being thrown out there, trying to keep even more folks from switching over to Keto, or having it get even more popular. … I’m sure it’s not helping the wallets of many when people do switch and not continue with the SAD. - Shame they can’t just admit it’s a better WOE/WOL for most folks.
