Keto catastrophe

#1

Or Ketostrophe if you will.

I came home from work to find my HWC sitting on the counter. I had left it out for 14 hours :sob:

Anyone else want to share so I can revel in other people’s misery?

(TJ Borden) #2

So…did you try it?

#3

No I usually use it on my berries in the evening and the idea of warm milk product on my blueberries sounds unappealing

Maybe once it re-chills I’ll give it the sniff test

(TJ Borden) #4

I’d end up doing the typical guy thing; take a swig to realize it’s bad, then put it back into the refrigerator; repeat

#5

Of course my DH did the typical guy thing and walked by it all day without moving it. Or moving it somewhere useful anyway - to the fridge

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #6

Wait, are you married to my nephew? :grinning:

(cheryl) #7

ok , i do this sort of thing often ( and im still healthy) i would just taste it – i have taken boiled eggs with me to work at 6 am in the morning and they were sitting in the desk drawer at work til 6pm at night and i ate them on the way home from work – my kids were horrified when i told them what i had done – they tasted fine – just a little room temperaturey and didnt smell great in the plastic baggy , but i didnt even get sick LOL

Is DH:

Darling Husband?
Dipstick Husband?
Dumbass Husband?

I speculate he didn’t put it away because either he was very, very busy, or he just didn’t see it.

(TJ Borden) #9

I don’t even need to ask my wife to know what her response would be

(Mike W.) #10

I think it’s usually “dear husband”.

#11

Well, I used it in my BPC this morning. There was some chunky bits, but I think the fat just separated a bit. It smelled and tasted fine.

Once I whizzed it up I didn’t notice any difference.

#12

I would do that too. I hate when food has that plastic sandwich bag taste lol. (I still eat it though!)

#13

I believe that is it. Though I just prefer to think of it as just D.H. Like that’s his online name or something cool.

(cheryl) #14

Good to know that it didnt go to waste

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #15

There, FIFY!
