Kerrygold missing from Costco?

#1

My local Costco is out of Kerrygold. Sometimes this means a Kirkland brand is coming when a product disappears. Just wondering if anyone has seen there Kerrygold disappear as well, or if it’s temp thing. Also, some Sams Clubs have been getting Alfresco grass fed butter which runs cheaper than Kerrrygold(although my Sams doesn’t have it, unfortunately).

Are you in Wisconsin? They can’t sell it here b/c of the overbearing dairy council.

If you ever see an (*) asterisk on a price sign at Costco that means it’s being discontinued…FYI

I’ve noticed it missing for at least a month or two from my Chicago-area Costco. Now that place in the cooler/fridge holds the Kirkland brand of butter. I don’t remember if it was grass-fed, organic, or what the label said. I can check once I go there again.

Nope.

Sometimes they move it to the end cap so make sure you look there.

Mine comes and goes. Sometimes it’s there sometimes it’s not.

Was just at local Costco (Northern VA) on Tuesday night, and they still had plenty of Kerrygold. I did find myself wishing I’d bought more when it was on sale, given how pricey it is.

Was that the Thanksgiving sale? I bought $50 dollars worth and regretted not buying more almost immediately.

Yeah, I think that’s when it was. I bought six boxes worth, and I wish I’d bought double that. IIRC, it was more than $3 off per box.

Just had a Costco employee confirm its not discontinued…phew!

I noticed at Costco they don’t put the carry Kerry butter with their butter section. They put the Kerry gold butter with the imported cheese. Go figure

Damn, I read the title of this post and a red alert style alarm went off in my head.

At my Costco, the Kerrygold is with the main butter, cheese, and eggs in the big refrigerated case. Of course, they do have a habit of moving stuff around, so who knows where it’ll be next time I go. Assuming they still have it, since they also seem to drop stuff as soon as I become reliant on them for it.

Still in my No. Virginia Costco.

Will be on sale at Aldi next week if anyone shops there. I’ll be stocking up!

Last I checked it was at my costco, but I have seen them move it around the store before. On the same note, there’s a couple of things my wife gets that it’s hit or miss whether they will have it there that particular week for some reason (not sold out, theres just different stuff in that section sometimes for whatever reason).

So far as I’ve seen, Kerrygold is the only grass-fed butter they carry at Costco. The kirkland stuff is not grass-fed (yet, that I’ve seen).
