Hello.
My doctor didn’t like my cholesterol results of LDL 354.
I am with Kaiser in southern CA.
Anybody know of a keto friendly doctor in the LA area?
Here’s another list
But no doctor keto friendly or not is going to be ok with an LDL of 354. The difference is a keto friendly doctor won’t be delusional on how to lower it.
Thank you.
Now,would you care to explain more?
I might be wrong and would like to learn more.
I thought that the LDL number didn’t matter as much as the size of the particles and the ratios.
What is a good LDL number to maintain on keto?
What is a number that a keto doctor won’t cringe?
There is no consistent relationship between keto and LDL levels. So there is no set level related to keto and no guarantee that a keto friendly doctor will also be high LDL friendly.
That said, a keto friendly doctor will probably listen to science about LDL as well.
What are your HDL and Trig numbers?

The good/bad ranges are more or less the same, it’s true when it comes to LDL that the particle size CAN be more important than the calculated total but doesn’t mean having high LDL isn’t a bad thing. Give it a couple months and it’ll most likely self-correct.
LDL by itself is not a very good marker for cardiovascular health at all. There is actually no correlation with the rae LDL number in recent studies.
Thank you for all your answers.
I have been on keto for the last 12 months and I was hoping that the LDL would self correct by now. I guess I am one of those lucky ones.
HDL = 50
Trig = 78
Your TRIG/HDL ratio is 1.56 which is good. Those are great numbers and should continue to improve over time I would think.
