I just can’t wrap my brain around ‘losing inches, but not pounds.’
I’ve only lost 8 pounds in three weeks. Somehow my body feels different, but I expected more loss.
So… how does that work? How can inches disappear, but not pounds?

Remember that muscle is denser than fat tissue, so a pound of muscle occupies less space. So if you lose a pound of fat and simultaneously gain a pound of muscle, you will weigh the same, but you will be thinner. Not to mention healthier.
