Just starting Keto!

So, hello, Im just starting the Keto plan while at the same time Intermittent fasting. After 4 days of this, i feel like im eating so much, and im bloated and uncomfortable. I’ve heard this gets better, any tips, experience, or results?

You might be trying too much too fast. And you might provide us more information re: specifics as to what exactly you are eating etc.
In general, suggest you start with just eating keto; figuring out your macros etc and getting your body used to that. Eventually you will become fat adapted. Then start adding in IF. Much easier to do when fat adapted.

Breakfast: 4Scrambled Eggs with Bacon Grease, 4 slices of Bacon, 1 Avocado

Lunch: Carnitas bowl from the Senza App recipe

Dinner: Chicken thighs with Cauliflower rice and Avacado oil ranch.

Late snack: 6 Strawberris, 1oz of Macademias, 6 slices of turkey meat, 1 string cheese.

These meet all my macros for my height and weight. i eat 12:00-8:00, then fast during the night and all morning, except watter, I am drinking constant water.

I agree with @Ajax. Don’t worry about fasting for now. Focus on cutting carbs and eating fat. Once you’re fat adapted, fasting will come naturally.

How will I know when i am? Im pretty new to this.

It can take a while, easily 6-8 weeks. You’ll know because any carb cravings that hang around when you first start will be gone, and you just won’t be hungry as much. That’s why fasting becomes so easy once you’re fat adapted, fasting can definitely help, but being fat adapted is really the key to keto, and to getting your body to burn stored fat.

It kinda comes naturally. After a few weeks ( for me it was six ) I found I could push breakfast to about 11am. I stopped eating at 6pm. So about 17 hours wasn’t hungry I was really cool about food… Focus on the basics. Weight loss, if that’s what’s you’re looking for will come. Just for now 20 grams of carbs, moderate protein, fat untill you’re full. That’s it

awesome, yea i am trying lose weight. Im 230, 6’2" trying to get to 210, and ill be happy. Trying this out. Since beginning of this fasting, Im not hungry during the morning, but when i do eat, its awesome, but then i just get super full and tired of eating lol.

I started Keto Jan 19 2018 and I have just begun IF. I actually fasted from 8pm yesterday to 2pm today(because I was super busy at work) and didn’t even notice it was way past lunch. Not even hungry…crazy. So I guess that’s how you know you’re adapted lol.
