Kind of scary thinking I had this down but obviously not my sugar cravings took over…any suggestions I don’t want to beat myself up to bad because I’m lke that
Just started 5 weeks and when on a somewhat sugar binge
I should say on macadamia nuts and 85 percent chocolate chips…sorry need to work on the spelling…lol
Meh. I would look at the 5 weeks I did and say right… I can do another 5 weeks starting now.
85% chocolate is probably 15% sugar but could be much higher. Here, everything has a ‘nutrition panel’ listing the product breakdown.
Find some decent keto-treats that you like and go for those. But generally, #KCKO and your cravings will fade like a forgotten memory.
I’d suggest that you resume your keto eating right away. Don’t beat yourself up. It happened to most of us. What’s important is to try to learn from that experience and go back to the ketogenic diet.
As for sugar cravings, I’d eat more fat in general and especially when you feel a craving for sweet food. You can also keep fat bombs in your fridge at first, until your cravings are under control. To avoid cravings all together, you can try to decrease your carb intake as much as possible. With time, the cravings will vanish.
i’ve had a couple in the last 2 years. i’m at the point now that the memory of feeling like crap after outweighs the desire for “mouth pleasure”. I think you’ll get there eventually as well. just get back on that horse!
Thanks so much everyone…I spent the day listening to keto utube between snoozing. I guess I was more tired than I thought. That is a trigger for me always trying to get more energy…thanks again for the support.
