Jenna Jameson weight loss

#1

So I love keto!!! Everything about it, I’m only 2 weeks in but so far absolutely no complaints.

To be honest, the reason I started keto was because of Jenna Jameson’s weight loss success with it. However, I’m now looking at the photos and her post and she claims to have lost 73 POUNDS in 3 months?!?

Does anyone think this is accurate? I don’t have nearly 73 pounds to lose, but I’m just curious.

Thanks for your response!

Even if it is, it’s not too smart.

Also, I hate these “I LOST HALF MY BODY WEIGHT IN A WEEK!” stories.

With an ALL CAPS passion.

Also, we’d see the weight loss better if she was in her usual photo state…

Plus, it’s like, “I lost 73 lbs in three months and it only took the other 9 months for my body to suck up the loose skin flaps left behind!”

Right???

I am in no way trying to be a hater, because props to you- that’s no easy feat.

BUT it just seems like whaaat? But also what is the point in lying about your timeline.

No way. Only really huge people can lose that much, and a lot of it would be water. That’s 0.8 lbs or .36 kg a day.

Jenna had a baby in April 2017, and I think her weight loss - a total of 80 lbs now - is since that date.

That makes a lot more sense.

Thanks for your reply!

I think a better accomplishment is I’VE MAINTAINED A 50 LB WEIGHT LOSS FOR OVER 2 YEARS. But that’s my accomplishment, so of course I think it’s better than hers.

I just found out who she was a few hours ago (thus my above HILARIOUS comment). She’s an “adult actress” of the celebrity level, which means reality isn’t a major thing to be concerned about, mostly. The more dramatic a thing is, the more chance of getting articles written about you, so bend it and spin it as hard as you can.

I lost 65 pounds in 3 months so it is possible. I am not sure about the not being advisable part. It just naturally happened, however I am extremely overweight. Not sure who Jenna Jameson is.

(Running from stupidity) #11

That’s the key.

Not sure who Jenna Jameson is.

Yeah, I googled her. Is/was a standard porn star, so you can be reasonably sure she didn’t start at some massive weight.

(Doug) #12

It was 187 lbs or 84 kg.

(Running from stupidity) #13

Yeah, well, there ya go.

Legitimate weight loss judging by the pictures, so well done to her, 3 months though ?? - I doubt that.

She looks so different from what I remember back 10-15 years ago, wasnt she one of the second/third wave of super famous adult film stars?

I’m tempted to Google further but fear my phone will be full of SPAM and Viruses in about 5 minutes!

Not sure if our mind went to the same place…

Minds. We are two individuals. Although there may only be one mind between the two of us.

Much of my rhetorical battles revolves around celebrities and their opinions or experiences with dietary regimens. And then that thought balloon over my head; “Am I really going to counter an argument propositioned by Kelly Clarkson?”

As someone else wrote, I don’t envy or begrudge a celebrity’s success, but it’s a poor bellwether for us proles. I lack a large disposable income or personal chefs.

Oh, BTW? Low-carb is cheaper and heather for we commoners, too.
