Itchy Legs? No rash or bumps, just itches!

#1

Has anyone else experienced this? … For the past week or so, my legs have just been real itchy? From below the knee, to the ankles, basically where I wear my socks. But there is no rash, bumps or any type of markings, they just seem to keep itching? And this is not just in the front or back, or even sides, it seems to be all over/around? … Hoping it stops, but would also like to know why it’s happening.

Thanks in advance…

Any chance of some mild neuropathy?

Not a clue? Haven’t changed anything recently, or incorporated different eatings, etc.? - This just started about a week ago. Mostly just ignore it the best I can, but it is a pain! … The wife’s nails are a nice touch though.

I can get itchy if I lose a lot of weight in one area particularly in my legs and I get itchy the day or two before. It is weird.

Hmmm, I’ve never heard or thought of that? But it kind-of makes sense, if that’s it? - My legs do show the most loss, in comparison to the rest of me. The wife and son have both mentioned this numerous times. (And I do hear a lot of folks here report the same, about seeing more loss in the legs/arms first?) Thanks, will definitely look into that some.

Actually, now that I think about it, I’ve also complained to my wife some about my shoulders itching from time to time too? Right at the very top, on both sides. But it’s also the same, no rash or bumps, just periodical itching? … I think you might be onto something! At least worth investigating.

Dave,

I’ve been mildly itchy in in places as I lose weight. I read that this is because of old toxins being released from the fat cells. When I went through my initial weight loss I had an occasional hive.

My legs itched for a couple of weeks, I had small little bumps though. Same area, below the knees to the ankles. I had chocked it up to dry skin and the change in seasons. It’s basically gone now.

Yeah, I had read about toxins being released on this WOE as well, and even spoke with my wife about this too since she’s been saying she’s had a few bumps, or pimples show up. Just one or two here and there, but good to know I’m not alone in this, and that could indeed be the cause.

Yep, sounds like this could be it indeed. I actually was just checking this morning, and in a few spots that are itching the worst, there might indeed be very, very small bumps associated with this? Hard to tell, but think I’m feeling the slightest texture now, which resembles maybe having goose bumps? … And good to hear it did indeed go away!

Thanks, Guys.
