It wasn't that bad

and that’s what scares me.

We had had our office Xmas party last night. My wife and I tucked into the spread with reckless abandon. Pizza, cannoli, anti pasta tray, salads, wine, bourbon, and a couple of beers. It was delicious. I keep waiting for my stomach to revolt. It’s not.

My greatest fear is backsliding now that I know the world isn’t ending. Meanwhile, I’m starting first extended fast today. Maybe I can make to Xmas day and start all over again…

Indulgence days are a fact of life they are few and we should not fear nor regret them but fully enjoy and embrace them

It still amazes me that a one/two day indulgence on the weekend and a Monday/Tuesday 48hr fast and IF(OMAD) for the rest of the week I end up with weight loss :star_struck::thinking:

IF/EF Keto WOE gives us the tools we need :innocent:

Good luck and much success in your journey in IF/EF Keto WOE

Thanks for your response. I’m surprised by how easy it has been to just move forward. I love this WOE.

I think you’re smart to fast right after. Nowadays, I try to fast before and after an “indulgence” day and it really helps me to quickly get back on track and have as few negative effects as possible. And I can’t imagine there is a quicker, more effective way to get back into ketosis.

It’s a way of life, after all.
