Issues with Salt

#1

Hubby says I have a problem… dunno what hes talking about…

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #2

I don’t see a problem, either.

(Ellen) #3

Nope, looks good to me

(Raj Seth) #4

I know right, I mean theres only 16 types there. Its not like I bought every type of salt avalible… variety’s good.
And the Halon Mon I can pick up local so should be able to hold out till the next trip down to the shop. Plus theres another 5kg of him.pink salt under the counter if im running low…

I see a problem. The Pink Himalayan should be in the front row, not the back. :stuck_out_tongue:

I SEE THE PROBLEM

You’re missing cherrywood smoked. Super yum.

(Carl Keller) #8

Out of all of those, what’s your favorite and why? Do some salts go better with specific things?

(Jane) #9

You win. I see I need to up my game here

#10

The problems obvious… … … … … … ditch the hubby

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #11

This thread reminds me of a photo on one of those meme sites that showed a refrigerator filled with bacon and a jar of applesauce. The inscription on the photo was, “Are you kidding me? Who needs all that . . . . . . applesauce?”

(Carl Keller) #12

I think Keto people would be the only ones to be happy to get salt for christmas. :sunglasses:

(Jane) #13

So TRUE!!!

#14

It’s like when salt was traded as currency!

#15

Yeah theres variations in flavour and strenth. Still playing around with what goes best with what but my fav is probably the viking smoked salt, its massivly smokey taste/smell, just need a wee bit to add this woodfire smoky taste to food.

:joy::rofl::joy::rofl::joy::rofl::joy:

(Carl Keller) #17

Interesting. I’ve only tried the pink so far and it’s remarkably better than normal table salt. I love that there’s no chemically aftertaste. I will be sure to try some of the smoky flavors when I get the chance. Thanks for the response.

(Alex ) #18

What is Viking Salt? assuming it’s not salt made from Vikings?

(Ellen) #19

It could be done but I reckon it would take a lot of work!
