So after several days of being ravenous and eating sooo much fat to cope, today I woke not hungry at all. I’ve had a couple of pangs but a cup of tea with double fixed it. I haven’t been preoccupied with carby or sugary thoughts either and my terrible headache is gone. Is this the start of me adapting?

As you’ve no doubt read, there are several adaptations you need to make to be full-on keto - making ketones, using ketones, expecting fat as fuel, using fat directly in muscles, etc., more efficient GNG etc. These are not discrete from each other or typically “cliff” events but more like sliding scales, though when you can perceive it, it may feel like a cliff!
This certainly sounds like the start… congrats and KCKO (obvs)
It possibly may not be full adaptation, but it certainly sounds as though you are getting there. Enjoy!
Well, day 3 and only wanting 2 meals and nothing in between! I think I’m on my way to being adapted!!
I have dinner at 7pm then don’t eat again until 12 or 1 the next day then dinner again at 7.
There is no way I would have EVER been able to go that long before this WOE.
I’m not even thinking about food until I get hungry. And it’s real hunger, a feeling I was totally unfamiliar with and when I’m full, I’m genuinely full. Another feeling I have never experienced.
I’m so happy I could cry!
Now, if only the scales would move faster.
