I hope everybody is staying safe and healthy. I have been trying to transition into a fat-adapted lifestyle for few weeks now. I will admit, I began this journey in a worst way possible. First week or two I’ve had some cheat days. The next week or two, I’ve committed but have not counted my macros at all. I can honestly say that wednesday 8/5/20, which is about a week and a half ago, was the day when my carb intake was below 30g per day with protein being kept around 20% of daily calorie intake. Since then I made sure my calorie intake was at my daily maintenance. I figured i won’t restrict calories until I’m past the rough stages. My issue is that I keep having periods of anxiety and tension all over my body and at few occasions I felt like I was having a mini panic attack. Also I’m often waking up with a feeling of pressure in my head as well as tinnitus, which again goes away after some time. The onset does not seem to be tied to anything specific, like last meal, blood glucose or ketone levels. My glucose is always between 75-95, and ketones fluctuate between 0.6 in the morning and sometimes 2.8 during the day. I first thought it’s electrolytes but I’m adding tons of sodium through Celtic sea salt and like 2 bullion cubes per day. I’m also using no salt throughout the day for potassium, adding a big cup of leafy greens to every meal and I’m getting 450mg of magnesium supplement everyday. I can’t find any solid info on what this is coming from and haven’t really seen anybody transitioning to keto talking about these symptoms. Any guidance is greatly appreciated
