Is this keto flu? I feel awful! Help

That’s carb addiction for you, don’t worry it gets better eventually. I went cold turkey and had one particular bad headache that got progressively worse through the day, eventually I ate a small chocolate bar and within minutes the head ache disappeared! Once I figured that it was the damn sugar and carbs causing it, I got even more determined. Everyone has varying degrees of carb withdrawal, some worse than others.

Thanks @tdean, good to know others have been through the same.

Feeling better today. Headache pretty much gone. Still weak and shaky, lightheaded. A bit hungrier today.

Urine strips arrived today and I got a deep lilac colour so it’s working!!

Day 7 and I think I’m over keto flu now thank goodness, that was miserable! :face_with_head_bandage: Headaches, nausea and generally feeling like crap all gone.

My hunger has really diminished. I haven’t really felt proper hunger like I used to for a few days now. I’m getting at least 2 high fat meals a day and no more than 20g carbs. The fat content is taking a bit of getting used to. Sometimes the thought of any more fat makes me feel sick and not want to eat anything even if I am feeling hungry. I guess I will adjust to this with time.

Still feel weak and lethargic though, if I exert myself at all I feel light headed and shaky. Anyone know when I can expect to feel better and have more energy? And this mental clarity that I’ve heard about - is this going to happen soon or I am just someone who doesn’t get this benefit?
