Cream of tartar, or potassium bitartrate, is 20% potassium. A half-teaspoon a day is the common wisdom for preventing high blood pressure issues. Dissolve the cream of tartar into warm water or a warm flavored drink. (Heat will help it dissolve.)

I would say yes until you get up to a single dose of about 6 tablespoons. That seems to cause trouble.
Thanks for this. I think cream of tartar is probably a lot more palatable than Epsom salts which is what I use in my own electrolyte mix.
