Is there a way to not loose weight on my face?

#1

My Mrs told me that I’m starting to look quite drawn in on the face.

I’m wondering if I should up my carbs to combat this…

Any advice?

You cannot spot reduce fat, and when you gain weight, you can’t choose where it goes.

You should be reducing carbs on a ketogenic diet, what are your main goals?

Well if you regain the water weight your face will probably puff out a little but if you’ve lost a lot of fat there is not a lot you can do short of regaining it.

The old saying goes that you have to choose between your face & your figure - this is more true the older you get I’m afraid.

You can’t choose where the weight comes off. I started to look a bit drawn when I lost weight initially, but the skin did bounce back and firm up after a while.

Weight seems to come off from the head down in my experience. Belly fat is the last to go. People notice when your face is slimmer with less jowls and less double chin. How can that be wrong?

I’m taking a collagen supplement, hoping that it helps with the skin as I lose weight. I have a cousin that lost over 50 pounds, and he looked much older in the face afterward. However, he looks great overall, and is so much healthier and happier, it is so worth an extra wrinkle or two.
