Is MCT oil necessary?

(Mj Esparza) #1

Is it necessary to take MCT oil if I’m already eating foods high in fat? I’m taking 2 tablespoons a day. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you

Not in the slightest.

Nope, just a supplement, and it’s use should never be just to get fat in. It’s for the energy and for some it keeps things moving down below as well as some mental clarity effects for some. You don’t have to eat fat for the sake of eating fat if your diet is right. But if you’re benefiting from it than keep it up!

Thanks! I don’t know if it’s just me but it makes me feel tired when I take it… weird!

#5

That’s weird all right, but I just come shy of passing out when I drink energy drinks so I’m not one to talk!

Lol!!! :joy:

In that case time to stop?

(Mj Esparza) #8

Yes I’m going to stop and see how I feel.

Over three years into this WOE, I have yet to had even a taste of MTC oil. I do use coconut oil and cream.

Not necessary at all.

I’ve been using heavy whipping cream, but now I’m wondering about lectins. They should be fairly low and heavy whipping cream, and yet I’m not making any progress and need to change something up.

It is simply unnecessary, period.
