All I eat lately is just meat and eggs and organic peanut butter with sugar free syrup
No veggies at all. And I’m only 11 grams of net carbs
Is it ok
If you are only 11g of carbs you can afford to add veges.
Are you trying to keep your carbs so low? If so, what’s your goal in doing so?
isnt that kind of limited? And the biggest question to ask yourself is: can I live eating like this for the rest of my life?
Only meat is enough, it seems but I don’t know what happens when you add PB…
I don’t eat veggies either except in tiny amounts, it should be fine. I surely won’t start eating them and ruining everything again with carbs… Try to find your own sweet spot, asking is fine, hopefully someone will say more - but vegetables aren’t needed, that’s certain. (No food group is needed, actually, you can get any important nutrient from multiple sources.) Meat is very nutritious, eggs too. But listen to your body and try to research if your diet is this restrictive but special too (as there are plenty of people living on meat only but living on meat, eggs and PB… I do an egg rich carnivore when I do carnivore, that’s not common either so I will watch and see. But I have more variety than you, not like variety is needed if our food choices are very good).
Sure it’s OK. Although I’d find alternatives for the peanut butter and syrup. You might also benefit from a bit more variety. For example, there are a large number of zero carb cheeses, both hard and soft. Carbs serve no useful purpose and the fewer the better. Check out the carnivore topics on this forum. Lots of folks eat zero carbs or close to it. You might find some good meal ideas. Best wishes.
What cheese are 0 carb?
I do enjoy a lot of .4 .5 and .6 carbs cheese, Like Mozz,Cheddar, Swiss, I also do Brie too I think is .1 close to 0
are there any others?
Google no carb cheese.
You will be surprised how many different cheeses you can have that have absolutely zero carbs in them. Then find a good quality pepperoni stick without carbs or nitrate to go with the cheese oh my goodness you will be in heaven
I see Blue goat cheese, brie, camembert and gruyere are only 0.1 or .2 as to 0 as you can get
Loving Brie
I eat slightly aged Gouda, that’s lactose-free according to its package. I prefer half-hard cheeses.
But I barely eat cheese and my eggs have a significant amount of carbs anyway (let alone my sour or heavy cream but I barely use them. it would be very easy to get 20, 30, 40g net carbs from dairy). But it’s fine, a few carbs rarely cause any problems. Of course, some people need to avoid dairy but most people are fine with them, at least the ones without lactose or close to it.
Blue cheeses are also typically relatively high in vitamin k2 (helps to move calcium to the bones).
