Is everything okay with my keto journey?

I’ve suffered from severe BED and Bulimia for the past 10 years, I tried everything to gain control over myself.
In July 2018 I started my keto journey, somehow my BED and Bulimia started to disappear, everything changed and took a positive vibe.
I finally started to lose weight, I finally started to appreciate myself. I went from 125 kg to 85 kg in 6 months I had few cheats due to friends/holidays/family.
However i’m Not losing weight anymore.
I flactuate from 85 to 82.
I wish I could reach my GW (75 kg)
Few infos about me
I’m 23 years old, male, my height is 182 cm and my current weight is 83 kg.
I do not workout (full time engineering student)
What should I do in order to lose weight?
Feel free to ask any question!

  1. How long have you been unable to lose?
  2. Is 75kg a reasonable goal weight for your build?

I stopped losing weight after November 2018
75 is perfectly fine.

Hello and welcome Argus.

The closer we get to our goal weight the harder it is to lose. Our body wants to keep some fat in case there’s famine. You’ve done a great job so far so congratulations for that.

Some things you might try to lose that 12 kg is fasting. Either eating one meal or day or even trying 48 - 72 hour fasts. Just make sure you are getting good and full meals when you eat, especially before trying a longer fast.

Also, you can try cutting nuts out of your diet, or diary or both. These can stall people.

Also make sure you are well rested and try to not be under stress. Stress is another thing that can keep you from losing weight. As an engineering student, I imagine stress might be part of your life.

Eighty-two kilos at your height is not a bad weight. You might lose a bit more, but I wouldn’t worry if it doesn’t happen. You could stand to be 5 kilos lighter, but even it your body is planning to burn off five more kilos, it isn’t going to happen overnight, not when you’re this close.

As Karl said, introduce some intermittent fasting. That might be just what you need to get over your plateau. Also, you need to find time to workout bro. Even if its just walking around the block every night.
