Interesting...Keto everywhere

#21

I’m clumsy - I can cut myself on plastic, paper, cardboard and also fail to notice that the shiny new carving set ordered online isn’t sheathed (left outside for display purposes).
I also have a job which requires high hygiene levels, and the ethanol gel is everywhere . . . so paper cuts are the gift that keeps on giving. Oh, and even mention some manky symptoms and there is an automatic reach for the hand gel.

I want to make pork crackle like the Coles Christmas crackle - fine strips, but I just don’t think it’s a good choice for me (unless I can con the local butcher into slicing it for me)
I’m consoling myself with bacon. Aldi streaky bacon, in the airfyer - tied into a knot so it’s crispy, yet soft centre.

Well, I guess doing what you’re best at is a thing, so ROCK ON!

Hmm, just what I was worried about. Big business jumps on the keto train, all is well for a while but then they’ll try to maximize profits and improve efficiency …

To make food low-fat, they replaced fat with sugar and then HCFS. Great thanks.

Now they’ll aim for low-carbs, they’ll find a way to rig that result, it just might be toxic that’s all.

Sadly, count on it!
