Insulin Responce

I went to walmart today and bought some Pyure (a erythritol and stevia blend sweetener). So I made some bullet proof coffe and put in 2 tspof pyure, which is 4 servings. Then I cooked some bacon to make the house smell yummy. 45 minutes later no hunger pains. My conclusion is that the pyure did not raise my insulin level. If the pyure had raised my insulin, I would have had to have some bacon. I gues this is a good way to test sweeteners with out a glucose meter. What do you guys think.

I wonder about this too. I made some Chocolate Mousse with Xylitol last week and had it a couple of times then one night soon after I was once again driven to eat. I mean wow; it felt like a old time day 3 hours after a Chinese meal. I put the Xylitol back on the shelf.

I guess that is an insulin response, but I’m not sure.

Thanks for the heads up. I will leave the xylitol alone.
