In ketosis, but not losing any weight

Hi guys…I’ve been in constant ketosis for 2 weeks, but can’t seem to budge on the scale. I’m in month 2 of keto and feel awesome. Energy is thru the roof. I work out 5 or 6 days a week. I’m frustrated because I’m not even seeing non scale victories. Any advice?

You’re still healing and probably not even fat adapted yet (usually 4 - 8 weeks in). If you feel amazing, you’re getting the benefits. I’ve been keto for a bit longer than you, haven’t lost any scale weight but clothes fit better and I just look like a more compact version of myself in the mirror (hard to explain. Still the same trouble spots they’re just smaller/less?). It takes much longer than 2 weeks for lots of us.

This is true @ketoteacher1 said. Keto isn’t about quick weight loss it’s about healing your body so it will release it’s fat stores. There is lots going on behind the scenes. You are reaping some of the benefits. Guess what for a lot of us it gets even better. And I get to eat steak with butter.

Dr. Eric Berg described something similar about a gal who had been in keto for years and did not lose any weight and he said it was because she was constantly working out (part of her profession) and that she was building muscle mass in place of the fat loss.

Can’t remember which vid that was in, he has so many!
