I wouldn’t expect too many responses with such little information.
How are we supposed to help you when we know nothing at all?

Are you fat adapted?
Was there sugar in the sausage?
How long have you been on Keto?
How did you test your ketones?

Ketones lower when blood sugar rises whilst your pancreas releases insulin.

Since you’re totally new here, you’ll probably have to tell us more. If you’re new to keto & using pee sticks, don’t worry - they’re notoriously inaccurate, and as you become efficient at using ketones they become useless, anyway.

Agree with everyone. The pee strips showed nothing for me. I started using a blood ketone meter at around four months. Blood ketone levels are steadily increasing. Went from an average of 0.8 at four months to spikes of 2.2 at six months. Just have patience - it takes time! Also, one reason I think my ketone levels have risen is that I am now intermittent fasting, a minimum of 12 hours a day up to 16. I wasn’t doing that in the beginning. This has lowered my blood glucose, which in turn raises ketones.
