Im trying to start over
You sound defeated. Maybe get angry and fight back (look at the junk food with disgust, instead of longing). Are you getting enough sleep and taking care of yourself in other ways. This may take the burden of comfort off of food. I hope you feel better soon. And about that 20 lbs, you lost it once, you can do it again. Take a deep breath, do whatever helped you get your head into it the first go around and try again.
Puzza is only junk ive eaten.no bread.no junk food like chips no rice …pasta or potatoes no desire for it.only ate because because …honestly i just wanted it…or was tired n got it .infeel defeated yes…n i dont know why…i feel gyuilt.ive tried thinking to myself im just going to start over …plain n simple …get my head outt my a** an just do it.
Theres no reason not to do it n be successful…

Stupid triggers drive me nuts in worst way
I am so sorry that you are struggling with all of this so badly, Lisa =(.
I wish you the best in starting from the beginning again. I agree with @PetaMarie to look back on whatever helped initially to get you started on Keto, and just do that again.
Make sure that you eat enough, so that you don’t feel hungry and frustrated. I would start eating 3 meals a day, a good breakfast, (like bacon, eggs, sausages, Fatty coffee by example) then a nice salad for lunch with some protein in it like a can of tuna, chicken, salmon or ham, some avocado mayonnaise, and some chopped up celery and/or pickles. Then for supper have a protein (beef, chicken, pork, lamb, whatever you like) and some nice low carb vegetables (bok choy, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus are some good ones) and make sure you get enough healthy fats and calories so you don’t feel hungry =). You can also make some Keto Pizza! that tastes really good =).
You have done it before, so I wish you success to get back on track and do it again!
Everyone falls off the wagon sometimes. It’s okay. I’ve eaten regular pizza a few times but I don’t really feel guilty about it. It’s just food, maybe not the healthiest food but you didn’t commit some sin to be ashamed of. So let the past food choices go and start now again.
What sounds good for your next meal? Chances are you can eat it with maybe some modifications. There’s Keto recipes for so many things.
I like Susan’s suggestions of eating three meals a day. I remember when I first started I ate a really good amount of food. I didn’t let myself feel deprived, and I gave myself permission to eat off plan occasionally. I know not everyone can do that but for some of us that can be a real help. I can do anything for one day. I can plan something for tomorrow or a week or 2 weeks to look forward to and the deprivation of whatever I’m giving up seems much more tolerable. Soon I just wasn’t missing those carby vices as much.
And sleep. Getting enough is so helpful and important. Having friends to share with is great too, even if it’s just keto on line friends who get your struggles and believe that this woe is healthy and can share their successes to encourage us.
I hope this encourages you too. I know you can succeed again.
Been going through the same thing in 2019 — finally getting back on track, it can be done! I’ve been doing a lot of reflection and realize I started getting off track when I quit (WHY?) listening to the 2KetoDudes podcasts among others, didn’t check in on the forum and other Facebook groups I liked (loathe FB, but it’s a necessary evil to stay in touch with faraway family & friends easily). Oh - and I had also quit tracking my macros…don’t know why I stopped, because I actually enjoy using My Fitness Pal. Just my $0.02 Hope this helps — we can do this!
Theres no real reason for me to be doing bad …i love keto …succeeding …gall bladder n removal.thru me for a loop…i have so many reasons to be successful…my sons grad…hoping for a big trip for mom n son and i…i tried doing the reward thing…nothing is making my brain go ooooooh ya we doing this girl.im lost …angry
Plus side being sick with bronchitis…no appetite
You are right. Keep trying. Just do it a bit different. Each time.
Reflect on your previous success and write down what you knew worked for you.
Allow yourself some time for you to learn about your self. Do some research. Just use the Search in this forum as a start. That will get you started. Match what worked to why it worked for you.
Now how.
Ask yourself “What do you want?” and try it that way. Put a pin on your map in each thing that works, so you can find it again.
Savour the good things learnt. Allow yourself to fail. Fail fast, if needed. To get to the next place.
Start over. Keep trying.
Ask yourself “What do you like?” and try it that way. Put a pin on your map in each thing that works, so you can find it again.
Allow yourself to fail.

Ask yourself “What do you need?” and try it that way. Put a pin on your map in each thing that works, so you can find it again.
Look back. You’ve learned a lot. Now teach. Help someone who is struggling with their things. Offer some gentle guides.
In the meantime go back to the top.
Keep trying. Start over. Each time a little different.
Each time through what you want, like and need will change a little bit based on what you learned.
You will get there. Often it is not the place you thought you wanted/like/needed to go. It will be a better place a self discovered place so much better to find with the knowledge you have gained and the wisdom you can share.
Like you just taught me. Start over. Keep trying.
I feel the same way! In the past couple months I put on 25lbs of the 40 I lost. I can’t believe I did that! I had just gotten out of the obese category and into just over weight. Then I took a new job got super stressed and ate and ate until the job ended. And now that’s all I feel is tired. Just so tired of fighting this food thing all the time. Everyone keeps saying eating more fat will help with the hunger but it’s still a constant fight from the time I get up in morning until I go to bed, always thinking about food! I agree, stupid brain!
Try not to think of it as a “FIGHT” to lose weight. Think of it not as a “diet” but as a “way of eating”. When someone asks me how I have lost weight (45 lbs.), I tell them I am not on a diet but am changing my WOE. I think it has helped me to think and talk this way.
Hi Lisa
Try making a list of all the positive, NSV progress you made earlier. Literally write it out and post it somewhere, maybe on the bathroom mirror. Then look at it each day to remind yourself of the reasons you ate keto besides the scale. Don’t give up, you’ve got this
I find writing a letter to myself works well. Even putting a stamp on it and posting it.
