I'm keto dessert casualty

My 14yr son decided HE was going to make our shakes. He put most of the ingredients in the blender, then brought it and the hwc to me.

Somewhere between the fridge and me, my son loosened the hwc top and forgot to tell me. Out of habit, I shook the bottle. HWC EVERYWHERE!! It’s on my couch and my floor. It’s on the dog. It’s in my hair and eyes. My eyes are BURNING.

But the shake is good, so not a total failure.

I’ve done this with red wine. Popped the cork INTO the bottle. Apothic Red shower ftw

Excellent wine choice @Brenda

Ahahaha man oh man this was me too — ONCE!
Didn’t have a corkscrew but it was meant to be a wine night, darnit! Tried threading a screw into the cork and pulling it out with pliers … nope.
So, ya, pushed it down into the bottle with a screwdriver … apparently I skipped the lessons in school re: hydraulic pressure, because, ohhh dang when the cork went all the way in (as you know) OLD FAITHFUL!!!
The kitchen looked like I’d murdered someone!!

You ever try Apothic Dark?

(What The Fast?!) #7

I love the dark!! If you like Apothic, try 14 Hands (also sold at Costco). It’s like a dollar more but the quality and smoothness is much better. I had a wine buyer friend tell me that 14 Hands is next level up in quality (in terms of amount of sugar and rodent parts per barrel) and I love the taste!

LMFAO!!!

YES. So good. Apothic Red was the first wine my boyfriend and I drank together on an “at home” date so it’s become a staple for us. Lucky for me it’s not awful for keto!

I almost fell off my chair when he told me…
