I am finally back to Keto after months of health issues preventing me from tolerating ketosis.
Long story short: I had some health issues the caused blistering hives any time my body would go into a state of Ketosis. It was not just a normal Keto rash because not matter what we did, it would not go away! Even now my MD is still a little stumped as to what could have been happening. Her theory is my liver had so many built up toxins that when I went keto it caused a max detox and the toxins came out of my skin and caused hell to break loose. So they put me on an elimination diet and we avoided steroid use to not further damage my stomach. After a few months of gut healing, glutathione IVs, and many many bottles of colloidal silver I seem to be doing okay as I go back into Ketosis! So now I just have to avoid beef, cow dairy, soy, nightshades and corn. Which is a much more manageable list then my elimination diet before. Hooray!
I am excited to start 2019 without the embarrassing blistery hives, but even more excited to better my health even more through Keto!!!
