Ibuprofen, yea or nay?

I take very little, which was why I was asking. Just trying not to put any extra “junk” or fillers in my body.

Fascinating. I, too, have really reduced ibuprofen use since FDA warnings came out. I used to use it almost every night to stop the restlessness which prevented sleep. I now use tumeric which helps somewhat. I use a slug of whiskey–straight–also.

Huh.
I think I shall try this.
Sounds very scientific and valid. Lol

NOT doubting you, and I will research. This is the first I’m hearing of this. If you happen to have a link, please toss it my way. Thanks.

I tried a couple different forms of turmeric supplements, both gave me disaster pants with minimum dosage. YMMV.

Can’t find the link…,saw it on the nightly news…it looks like FDA went from saying nsaids might increase “RISKS” of heart attack and strokes to Nsaids do increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes…I misquoted and will accept 1000 lashes with a low carb noodle :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

That’s cool. I’ll do some research. I’ll admit when achy and overtired I have “used” ibuprofen to help me sleep. Not often but I do.
If it’s gonna kill me in my sleep tho I’m giving it up for good.

I gave it up after that NBC broadcast, cuz strokes are rampant in my family…it’s a shame, too, cuz it works so well
