I truly miss 2Ketodudes

(jcshrunked) #1

Since their last podcast, I have been shopping around for other podcasts out there. Stayed for a few episodes and move on to the next Especially as soon as they start selling too much stuff . its just not the same as the 2ketodudes.

The sincerity of that podcast is palpable. I feel connected. I feel like actually going to school with Richard. I feel like actually going on a gig with Carl. I feel like am on a 27 hr road trip with Carrie.

The sound quality, format and production is excellent. You can tell that they have looked into every detail of that show that the final product to the ears of listeners, its already made simple and blemish free. I get excited to drive 30 minute to work bec thats the best time I could hear them.

Yes it does sound like a breakup that I have a hard time getting over.

If you guys have a suggestion of other podcasts that you think is similar. I am willing to listen.

What happened to 2 keto dudes podcast?

What did I miss?

(Marianne) #3

Yes, please explain. Are they just taking a break or are they done with broadcasting?

(Bob M) #4

They are taking a long break.

(Marianne) #5

Diet Doctor podcast and Fat Emperor might fill the void?

I think we all are missing the Dudes.

Low Carb MD Podcast is really good and they are friends of 2 Keto Dudes.

I really like the Peak Human podcast. The interviews are long and in-depth, and the host, Brian Sanders, is very good about letting his guests talk.

They did the right thing. Keto is beyond over saturated at this point. Podcast after podcast, all the same info, all the same guests, all the same “new” findings and news. Everything was running into everything for a while now. Better to leave by choice while you’re still one of the higher regarded ones and not because the podcast is treading water and trying to stay afloat.

If you’re still looking to learn stuff aside from keeping your carbs and insulin low I’ve been learning a ton the last year or so from a bunch of the biohacking podcasts like Ben Greenfield, Biohacking Secrets and Dave Asprey (which at one point I couldn’t stand) but I’ve become a fan and Revolution Health which is Chris Kresser’s podcast.

That’s why I like Peak Human. He covers other topics as well: including regenerative agriculture, health issues, etc. It’s not just keto/carnivore. Of course, he does interview the regular cast of characters, as well.

I’ve listened to the Carnivore MD with Paul Saladino. He likes to get very sciencey , but he can really go off on his own tangents and not let his guest get a word in. I find that annoying.

YUP! I listed for a couple episodes and really liked it then I picked up on that as well. Also noticed anything other than “nose to tail carnivore” wasn’t really taken seriously by him which most people even in carnivore circles aren’t doing. It seemed EVERYTHING always comes back to that with him.

(jcshrunked) #14

thank you! i put them on my list just now

(jcshrunked) #15

appreciate the input!

Another Podcast I like to listen too:

(Cheryl) #17

I really like that podcast. No commercials, they are docs but don’t act like they know everything and have good guests.

(Ellenor Bjornsdottir) #18

I do wonder if episode 200 will be Daisy and Carrie…

That would be sort of weird.

(jcshrunked) #19

I like Gormy’s podcast. He was a guest in 2ketodudes. This guy lost 350 lbs and now helping other people with his self produced podcast. Very real and humble.

Check him out.
