Ask one if they can get it for you…You may have to buy a min, but nothing wrong with that.
I tried Carnivore, not for me
That is true, I’ll have to ask, didn’t think of that tbh. Need to buy myself a freezer. My kitchen fridge isn’t cutting it.
Check and see if you have a Restaurant Depot near you
http://www.restaurantdepot.com/
Beef at my Costco is just outrageous in price currently. 9.99lb for Strip or Ribeye-same price. Took a trip out to RD to check on prices. Granted it was Select grade, but they had OX1 Strip loins for $6.00 and $5.48 case price (or greater than 51lbs). Cut your own and vac seal
Yeah, but you only have to do it once a month if you have a chest freezer.. You may need to bring a truck or a trailer though to cart back all your goodies.
I’m just playing though. I know it’s not practical for everyone.
Steady, bordering on advertising!
I was getting worried yesterday my posts mentioning Vegemite were going to get flagged!
Maybe nobody cares!
Sorry, I forget.
I had to start of as a marketer when we first opened and I hated it. I’m not a good sales person.
I told them if they needed an ambassador for the store, I was there person as I truely love the company and would sing its praises any day.
But sales just wasn’t for me.
I can assure you there is no fortune in vegemite! But there is some pleasure in turning a waste product into one of australia’s favourite foods!
If it was more viable trust me I would shop there in a heart beat! That’s part of my problem! I need a dang truck to get a freezer, no one willing to let me borrow. For shame.
I want an upright freezer to replace my chest freezer. I know they are less efficient and hold less, but I can never find anything in the massive chest freezer we have. Every so often we clean it out and have to toss a bunch of stuff we forgot about. Uprights are easier to keep organized and everything stays more visual so you don’t lose it for 6 months.
Fair enough, I just want a small one, my dogs food I buy in bulk and it takes up most my fridge freezer since she’s now on a no grain, slightly cooked foods all real food.
Only thing in my freezer is 5lbs give or take ground beef weighed into individual servings. My fridge is typical bachelor fridge. Four 24 pack cases of eggs, 3-4 packages of bacon, 3-4 packages butter, 3-4 packages cream cheese, bag of coffee, and zevia. Some mustard that hasn’t been touched in over 6 months too.
I have a very old, very massive chest freezer. Even for me, that would be a lot of bacon.
Seriously though, it was put down in our basement years ago before the basement was ever finished off. Even with a large door put in after finishing, if it ever dies we will have to sawzall it apart to remove it.
Oh, I also have a second fridge/freezer out in my garage. That’s my Keto fridge. The chest freezer is more for family foods since it was well stocked before Keto. The chest freezer has full turkeys we got for Christmas but never got around to making, venison when my DH gets lucky hunting, and admittedly, lots of Costco stuff. My in-laws used to raise cows and we had lots of beef back in the day. Now they give us a $100 gift card to a meat place nearby. This will be my first time using it while doing Keto. I’m looking forward to picking out lots of fatty meats!
