Been keto two week now, first week I found it hard going. Struggled eating the level of fat, always managed to eat less than 20g carbs. Steady weight loss of two pounds each week, so generally all is
Good. And I’m starting to feel great.
Thursday night I had dinner, went to bed. Got up Friday not Hungary at all, which this last week has been normal. I’ve had no hunger pangs at breakfast. So have missed it and eaten at lunch. Friday was different - had to take my daughter to a&e over lunch, by the time I’d got home and collected my other daughter from school it was 3.30pm and I’d still not eaten since previous evening. Took the kids to macds for end of term treat and I finally had some food. Obvs burger and no buns. But that filled me up again and I didn’t eat the rest of the evening. Got up this morning and am currently drinking coffee with cream and not hungry.
So, this is where I question what I’m doing…am I now fat adapt? In ketosis? Or just putting my body in starvation? Not used to high fat style eating and I’ve always been a three meal two snack a day kinda girl.
