I think I'm not hungry!

So, I have been keto for 10 weeks, with a few days that had higher than 20g of carbs.

Today, I think I am not hungry! I don’t know what to do with this feeling - I feel like I should eat, I kind of want to eat, but I am pretty sure I’m not hungry :slight_smile: So this is what you are all talking about!

I’m not going to eat, even though I had a meal planned and I want to… We will see how I feel when I wake up!

It is a strange feeling at first isn’t it? Before coming to keto I was doing LCHP and eating every 2 hours and it seemed like I was ALWAYS eating. Now before that, I WAS always eating but with LCHP I was eating stuff I was supposed too, not that I wanted too.

When I switched to 20:4 IF it was indeed freeing to not only not be eating constantly (or making sure I had my next day’s food prepped) or worrying about food. Adding keto just made it even easier. So now if it is getting late in my eating window and I still haven’t eaten because we are busy doing something (doctor’s appointment or whatever) or I have to work a 12 hour shift, I am rarely hungry but often just WANT to eat. I haven’t yet made the decision to skip the day but I know I easily could. It was just that each time I get home and the next thing you know … the wife has a nice fatty set of country style pork ribs or wild salmon waiting for me… and it would be rude to not eat it. :slight_smile:
