I think I'm fat adapted now and miscellaneous questions

I had posted earlier that it has been almost 3 months and I’m not feeling any different and is it possible that not everyone sees a benefit from being fat adapted. Well, for the past two days, I’ve been feeling different. It’s easier to skip meals. I can absolutely tell when my BG goes up. I start to feel hungry, but it’s not like real hunger. Just a weird, jittery feeling. Now, things that didn’t make my BG go up seem to affect me differently. Artificial sweeteners mainly. So, this morning, I had a morning electrolyte drink (Lite-Salt, MCT oil, Snapple diet drink powder and water). My BG was at 98 when I tested it. So the questions are:

  1. Does MCT oil spike BG?
  2. When you become fat adapted, does anyone else notice a difference in BG reaction to foods?
  3. What is the best thing to do when you have an elevated BG and get jittery? Is there anything that I can eat (fat, etc) to bring my BG level down quicker?

TIA

Try testing that drink in the afternoon, the ‘dawn effect’ can really mess with your BG in the AM. I would get some jitteriness in the beginning after becoming adapted but settled down and I don’t feel any different now than I did as a sugar burner. Well lighter, but that’s it.
