I know this is somthing one does not usually rejoice over BUT(no pun intended) if you have followed my food journal and my struggles over the past 2.5 months, you will know that I have not had a proper poop in all that time. TODAY was the first day in 2.5 months, somthing solid actually came out of my body!! SO i am doing a serious happy dance right now!

I feel like this should be the Poopers Anonomous thread cause bathroom issues of all types seme to abound on Keto… you got the:

-only coffee makes me go poopers
-MCT oil only poopers
-Carnivore fatty meal poopers
-Too much Keto veggies poopers
-Too much dairy poopers
-not enough fibre on keto non-poopers
-too much protein on keto poopers
-lactose is bad for my stomach poopers
-cheese is bad non-poopers
-exercise makes me go poopers

See what i mean? various bathroom habits based on many factors!

I am just happy that i can say without embarresment, I feel blessed to finally not be experiencing Niagra Falls on a daily basis! Hallelujah!

Yup, that’s happens when you eat solid food. :cowboy_hat_face:

Congratulations Heather. Pooping is to eating as the not famous Hemsworth is to Thor.

I understand your excitement. Once I went three weeks without going to the toilet. I was in absolute agony. Had to give myself an enema. Another time I was taken to hospital by my Mum unable to walk and it took 24 of drinking gallons of disgusting water stuff and I STILL couldn’t go. There’s nothing worse than being in labour with a mud baby.

I have no trouble reading poop discussions. I’ve had talks with my children’s doctors about not pooping, or pooping (and the consistency of it). I totally get the excitement of having a “normal” poop.

I need to get my baby’s poop a bit softer. It tends to get a bit hard/clumpy…probably due to all the milk he drinks. I don’t really want to give him pears/fruit. It is getting a bit softer though, as he eats stuff in addition to the milk.

Yah i understand the challenge. My kid was born a preemie and she would get constipated by formula and we had no choice but to give her apple juice…like a tbsp mixed in a bottle of water.
We ended up having to use glycerine suppositories to help our poor girl. :frowning: I felt so bad when she would be screaming in pain due to her belly being all full and backed up.

It continued on as a child. She would get so backed up that she would actually be vommiting until she finally went. Turned out…she was backed up because she was always holding it in her body. She didnt want to poop…she was so focussed on playing and activities… It landed us in the hospital multiple times and required a few saline enemas.
