I Over slept, Alarmed

I over slept. Alarmed.

Talk about a good nights sleep. Now, I have had a busy week, done five day shift’s plus an evening shift. Rounded off with a couple of hours work on Saturday. By the time I had finished editing pics on Saturday night, it was about 11-30 pm. I knew I had Sunday off, and was looking forward to not having to get up early etc.

Went to bed, and when I awoke, this morning, I expected it to be as usual just before 7 am. looked at my watch and it was 3 pm. I had slept for 15 hours.

I am now in the wide awake club, hence my post. Any other member’s experience such lengthy periods of sleep ?.

I wish! That takes me three nights pretty much.

The only time I ever slept that long was when I managed to develop a B12 deficiency. If it’s just a one off I’d be stoked!

That sounds amazing!!! Can’t remember the last time I got a decent nights sleep!!! If I sleep 3 hours a night that’s a GOOD night of sleep for me!!! Soooo jealous of your 15 hours lol :wink:

Yes, sometimes I sleep a lot.

When I went to bed last night, I was a bit concerned. I set my clock on the bedside table, which I seldom do and my phone alarm for 7am. I awoke this morning just before 7am, as usual, just before both alarm’s kicked in, 7 hours sleep. (Had a late night, knowing my first job was not until 10am)
How strange. I can only imagine the fact that I knew I was not going to work on the Sunday, had some effect. And maybe I had worked harder than I thought and needed the rest.
But 15 hours sleep, that’s a lot of sleep, never ever slept that long before.
Maybe my body had a major repair scheduled. Nah, maybe I’m just going nut’s.
