@Abbie_Moyer - please continue to update us on your progress. Some of us are in the same boat.

I went from 240 to 185 and have been stalled for months, wanting to get to 160 (high-school weight). Here’s what I realized: I got lazy. I’ve slowly allowed my carbs to creep up in the name of feeding my gut biome. I’ve allowed my snacking to increase near bedtime. I started eating more artificial sweeteners and allowing my sweet tooth to flare up. Turns out, I was on the edge of ketosis at 0.3 mml/L.

A week ago, I recommitted, stopped cheating, and my weight’s down 6 pounds. Of course, 4 of that is water, but 2 pounds are real. More importantly, I can see and FEEL the difference. Time will tell if I continue to lose.

I’m starting to believe that if you eat Keto to satiety, you will stabilize at some weight ā€œset pointā€ that may be different than your desired weight. At that point, it seems that losing or gaining will require some proactive intervention beyond ā€œeat to satiety, ignore caloriesā€.

I will keep you updated I have to agree that I have gotten lazier and let me sweet tooth get the best of me! So I am trying to be more strict and try uping my calories this week to ramp my metabolism!
