I need advice

I have a super busy schedule and today was my day 1 on keto. I noticed around 1pm, my energy levels were really low and I couldn’t mentally function well.
I need snacks throughout the day so I was looking for keto friendly snaks.
I came across Wild Zora® Chili Beef Meat and Veggie Bars which they claim are made from beef and organic veggies.

Ingredients
grass-fed beef, organic vegetables and fruit (red bell pepper, apricots, dates, kale, garlic, onion), spices, cayenne pepper, sea salt, celery powder

they have dates as the third ingredient…is this still ok for keto?

9g net carbs for a 31g serving? Only 4g of fat. I’d skip it. There’s too many snack options that have less or no sugar and will do a lot more to curb hunger.

Try macadamia nuts, summer sausage, cheese, pork rinds, pepperoni slices, hard boiled eggs, olives, veggies with full fat sour cream or dressing.

Many find that after only a few weeks on keto, your appetite adjusts and you’re not really hungry for snacks. Not to say snacks aren’t helpful early on, but don’t dwell on figuring out what to snack on as being a long term challenge, and avoid snacks that are 30% sugar.

Above all, KCKO

You are right…I was tempted but then felt reluctant but now I clearly get it.I think I am going insane…It was such a hard day to get through. I can’t weight to get done with the beginning days and get a boost of energy from ketosis.

I found I was really hungry all the time for the first week. I tracked everything (it helped me identify carbs), but didn’t worry about calories. I kept my choices ketogenic and ate when I was hungry. If I was still hungry a half hour to an hour after I ate, I ate more fat (olives, avocados, eggs, bacon, cream cheese, cucumbers with blue cheese, macadamias, pecans). By the second week I was able to mostly keep my eating to three meals a day with very little snacking. This gets better.

Good luck!

Take a bit of salt on your tongue and see if that helps. Watch your electrolytes.
